The video has not been shared by Motorola India’s handle, hinting towards a launch in select markets, starting with China, at the confirmed June 25 event. The brand followed the same practice last year with the Moto razr 40 series as well with the India launch happening in the following months.

In an exclusive, 91Mobiles shared last month that the bas Moto razr 50 could receive significant updates from its predecessor — the most obvious being a bigger cover screen like the Moto razr 40 Ultra. The main screen on the device has a narrower bezel as well.
“The cover screen of both phones appears to have separate cutouts for the camera lenses. So, it’s just the camera rings and no enclosure around them,” the report said.
Getting into the specifications, the device is likely to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is said to be 3.63 inches, also pOLED.
The phone will reportedly include a 50MP and 13MP dual setup on the cover screen and a 32MP camera on the main screen. It will run on Android 14 and could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It is also expected to have a 4,200mAh battery.
The razr 50 Ultra, on the other hand, is also expected to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED main display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The cover screen is likely to be a 4.0-inch pOLED panel.
In terms of cameras, the razr 50 Ultra might sport dual 50MP cameras on the cover screen. The main screen is expected to feature a 32MP camera.
Under the hood, the razr 50 Ultra could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device is also set to run on Android 14.
Rumours suggest it will come with a 4,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.
Moto razr 50 series price
The Moto razr 40 Ultra is currently selling for ₹69,999 and the razr 40 at under ₹36,000.
However this year, reports suggest that the devices could be priced higher with the razr 50 starting at 899 euros (approximately ₹80,500) for the 8GB+256GB variant and the razr 50 Ultra at 1,199 euros (about ₹1,07,300) for the 12GB+512GB.
