At a time when the craze for international cricket is already on a downward spiral, team India has done something extremely uncalled for. The team has scheduled a bunch of useless games for the next 30 days or so.

Starting from 19 September, India will be facing Bangladesh in the upcoming T20 series and test series.
The opening test will be played in Chennai while the three-match T20 series will happen after that.

Shockingly, and perhaps more fittingly, the ticket sales for the opening test match in Chennai are already very low. A similar trend could perhaps be seen in the entire test series as well.
It is increasingly evident that fans are least pleased with this useless series against a low-lying Bangladesh which adds no value to the team. This is the kind of stuff that spooks out ardent followers as well.

The real deal will star only start from the 16th of October when India will be facing New Zealand which will be followed by the series against Australia towards the end of 2024.
