Singer and social media sensation Abdu Rozik created headlines after he announced his engagement to Amira in April this year. Although the duo were supposed to tie the knot in July, the pair separated due to cultural differences, as announced by Abdu on social media.
Abdu wrote in a statement that he wants someone who is “mentally strong” since his true self has been the reason behind his success. He additionally expressed gratitude for everyone he met over the years, stating that he believes in finding his true love once again.

Notably, Abdu posted photos of the engagement through his social media page, and the event was held at Majlis Sharjah. On the other hand, the latest announcement led to a minor issue for Abdu where a portion of the public claimed that it was possibly a publicity stunt.
However, Abdu responded to the rumors in a conversation with the Bombay Times, saying that the reports were not true and he was not willing to get any form of publicity. Although there were claims that the wedding was called off due to the height difference, Abdu denied the same.

Abdu accumulated a huge fanbase after appearing as a contestant in the 16th season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan. Furthermore, he has made guest appearances in other shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi, which also airs on Colors TV.
