Amazon Prime Video’s Panchayat managed to accumulate a different kind of fanbase after its premiere in 2020. Following the success of the first three seasons, the series is returning soon with a fourth installment.
As per the latest update, TVF has recently locked a script for Season 4 and filming is scheduled to start on October 25. The news was confirmed by a source, adding that the lead cast members would return to reprise their roles.

Notably, director Deepak Kumar Mishra revealed back in May this year that they were planning a new season and the script writing was in progress. He additionally stated that they had already written 3-4 episodes for the upcoming installment, leading to excitement among fans.
On the other hand, the source also mentioned that the makers are focused on making the new season better than the other three. The source added that the reason for the same was the success of the entire show and the impact that it has left on family audiences.

The third season of Panchayat ended on a cliffhanger where Brij Bhushan Dubey gets shot and hospitalized. While Abhishek and everyone else close to Pradhan believe that MLA Chandrakishore Singh is the one involved in the case, the mystery is yet to be resolved.
