Making sequels of superhit films have become a trend in Bollywood. Critically acclaimed director Vidhu Vinod Chopra is also hopping on it with the sequel of 3 Idiots and Munna Bhai 3.
His documentary based on behind the scenes action and creative process of 12th Fail is trending these days. He has also shared the happy news that he is writing 2 Idiots and Munna Bhai 3.

Although fans are pretty used to seeing remakes and enjoying them for their nostalgia factor, Vidhu wants to give them something more. He shared that it is easy to cash-in on remakes but for him it is more important to do quality work rather than just focusing on the money making aspect.
This is the reason why it is taking him so long to finalise the scripts, once that is done he will focus on following steps. Fans have started speculating who could be the star cast of the sequels.
