Director Anees Bazmee is all set to take the horror-comedy franchise to new heights with his upcoming film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, starring Kartik Aaryan.
After the success of BB2, Bazmee claims that he has significantly worked on production scale and storytelling.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings back Kartik Aaryan as ‘Rooh Baba’, along with Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit as ‘Manjulika’.
Anees Bazmee is not a new name when it comes to comedy. He believes comedy to be someone else’s tragedy and instructs his actors to act with seriousness, rather than going overboard with expressions.

Now having stepped into the genre of horror-comedies, the director also has to maintain a delicate balance between laughs and scares, while creating an eerie atmosphere of humour and suspense at the same time.
With the massive successes of horror-comedies like Stree 2 and Munjya, Anees Bazmee is hopeful yet cautious regarding the film.

He has said that he does not take the audience for granted, as the public’s mood can get too volatile too quickly.
The expectations from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are sky-high and it would be a tough job to fill in the shoes of its predecessors.
This challenge multiplies ten-fold considering the fact that BB3 goes neck-to-neck in competition with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ in November.
It would be interesting to see whether Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 manages to carry the legacies of horror-comedies, or does it fail while trying.
