‘Modi Ji’ Dropped from Romantic Comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi

Mere Husband Ki Biwi is releasing on 21 February and it has cleared the UA 13+ certificate. Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh are extensively promoting this love triangle comedy film.

But before its release the Central Board of Film Certification has asked them for some changes. Famously known as the censor board in Bollywood, the film board authority has asked them to remove the reference to ‘Modi Ji’ in the film and just use the word ‘government’ instead.

Even some explicit scenes and regional terms are cut to fit in the expected certification. The film is approximately 2 hours 24 minutes long.

Jacky Bhagnani is backing the production of the film, while fans feel he has placed the lead of the film in the wrong hands by casting Arjun Kapoor; he’s embracing this collaboration wholeheartedly. As Pooja Entertainment stands on its verge to closure, this is their last hope to redeem themselves.
