MLB World Series schedule announced as Los Angeles Dodgers face New York Yankees

Every game of the World Series between Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees will start at 8:08pm Eastern time.

It means a West Coast start of just after 5pm, beginning with Game 1 on Friday night at Dodger Stadium in California.

Aaron Judge and the Yankees clinched their place in the World Series on Saturday night, beating Cleveland Guardians in five games.

Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers then booked their place on Sunday, winning in Game 6 against the New York Mets and curtailing hopes in the Big Apple of a Subway Series for the World Series.

Games 1 and 2 are in Los Angeles on Friday October 25 and Saturday October 26.

The following three games are then at Yankee Stadium from Monday Oct. 28-30.

The final two games – should they be needed – will be back in Los Angeles due to the Dodgers being the higher seed because of their superior regular season record.

Tickets for the games are astronomical. The cheapest ticket for Game 1 at Dodger Stadium starts at $1030 on Ticketmaster.

For Game 3, the first one at Yankee Stadium, prices for bleachers on StubHub begin at $1,260 before fees.

The Dodgers are narrow favorites in a showdown that will pitch the two superstars of the game against each other in Judge and Ohtani.

For the Yankees, Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton especially have also stepped up to the plate in ominous form in the postseason.
