In an effort to hear and redress the grievances of people virtually at their doorsteps, Manakondur MLA Kavvampally Satyanarayana has launched a vehicle christened “MLA on Wheels” to tour his constituency for prompt redressal of public grievances.
The MLA, a qualified doctor, launched the novel initiative to reach out to people and listen to their grievances in Manakondur Assembly Constituency thrice a week.
Dr. Satyanarayana travelled in the four-wheeler resembling a big ambulance after formally launching it at Nustulapur village in Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar district.
The Satavahana Urban Development Authority (SUDA) chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy, Dr. Kavvampally Satyanarayana’s wife Anuradha and several mandal level officials of various government departments were present.
Dr. Satyanarayana said that he will listen to the grievances of people at the grassroots level and strive to get the public grievances resolved swiftly.
“Mandal-level officials will accompany me to the villages and we will work in tandem to resolve public grievances efficiently,” he said, adding that a mobile app has been launched to receive public grievances for speedy redressal.
“These initiatives have been launched to avoid inconvenience to people particularly those who could not afford to travel to my (MLA’s) Camp Office in Manakondur all the way from their villages to submit their grievances,” he said. “MLA on Wheels” will strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism making it hassle-free and transparent, he said.
