Many Indians visit Dubai every year, whether for tourism or career opportunities. The city also boasts a huge Indian population. However, there has been a noticeable increase in the rejection of Indian visa applications for travel to Dubai in the recent past.
Many travel agencies report that there is a never-seen-before rise in the visa rejections of Indian tourists travelling to Dubai. This results in uncertainty of travel and huge financial losses to the tourists.

According to a travel operator, 99% of the Dubai visa applications used to be approved earlier but nowadays, the rejection rate is very high. He said that despite preparing the application carefully and attaching all required documents, many people’s visas are being rejected.
It was reported that recently, a group of 35 people booked a package to Dubai but their plans were disturbed when one of their family members’ visas was rejected, resulting in a financial loss.

As per reports, the new visa regulations require detailed documentation like hotel bookings and return tickets. For people who are staying with relatives, the host’s rental agreement, Emirates ID, residence visa copy and contact details should be provided. Many people are experiencing rejections due to errors in their documentation.
Before visas are applied, tourists already book their flights and hotels. However, once the visas get rejected, all that money will go in vain. Thus, many tourists are now thinking twice before booking tickets to Dubai.
