Maruti Suzuki started accepting the bookings for the new Jimny way back in January during the 2023 Auto Expo. Before the price announcement, the brand had already accumulated over 30,000 bookings. The brand is yet to confirm the waiting period on the car officially. After announcing the prices of the new off-roader, the deliveries of the new car has started across the country. Here is a first video of the car being delivered.
This video is from Punjab. The dealership has started delivering the new Jimny in Granite Grey and the video shows the first customers to take the delivery of the new car. The whole family went to take the car at the dealership and after they unveiled the car after removing the black sating cloth, a cake cutting ceremony was also done to celebrate the occasion. This looks like the top-end Zeta variant of the Jimny. This is the top-end automatic variant.

The Indian automobile market is set to welcome the arrival of the five-door variant of the Jimny, an extended wheelbase edition of the three-door Jimny that is already being sold internationally. The Jimny showcases a distinctive upright and boxy design with a modern twist on retro aesthetics. Notable exterior elements include LED projector headlamps equipped with headlamp washers, a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, and stylish 15-inch gunmetal alloy wheels.
Jimny top-end Zeta-Auto variant delivered
The top-end variant of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny gets a price tag of Rs 15.05 lakh, ex-showroom. The base manual variant of the car gets a price tag of Rs 12.74 lakh.
The top-spec Alpha variant of the Jimny offers a range of features, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a push start-stop button, electrically adjustable and foldable rearview mirrors, and steering-mounted controls for audio, Bluetooth, and cruise functions. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic stability control, traction control, reverse parking sensors, and a camera.
Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine generates a maximum power output of 104.8 PS and a maximum torque output of 134.2 Nm. The manual variants offer a fuel efficiency of 16.94 kmpl, while the automatic versions provide 16.39 kmpl. All variants come standard with Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro four-wheel-drive system.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is available in five monotone color options: Bluish Black, Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, and Pearl Arctic White. Additionally, the Alpha variant offers two dual-tone color options: Sizzling Red with a Bluish Black Roof and Kinetic Yellow with a Bluish Black Roof.
