The country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India, is gearing up to launch its newest and most premium vehicle in its lineup, the Invicto, on July 5. This forthcoming MPV will take the spot of the flagship model in its lineup and will sit above the mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara. As of yet, Maruti Suzuki has only shared a silhouette of this MPV, but like every other new car, images of test mules of this vehicle have also leaked online. Now, based on those pictures, one of the talented artists from the country has created a realistic render of what will most likely be the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto.
The video rendering of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto has been shared on YouTube by Bagrawala Designs on their channel. From the renders, it can be clearly noted that the premium MPV Invicto will be based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, which is currently one of the most popular MPVs in the country and has waiting periods of upwards of 1 year. The overall body and design of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be the same as the Hycross, but there will be some subtle changes on the MPV to differentiate it from the Toyota MPV.

First and foremost, the front grille of the Invicto will be different from the one in the Innova Hycross, and it will get a grille design borrowed from the Grand Vitara. The Toyota moniker will be replaced by the Suzuki moniker at the front and will get a thick chrome bar like the Fronx and Grand Vitara. Additionally, the front bumper will also be different from the one seen on the Hycross. Apart from this, there will be no changes on the side of the Invicto, and the rear will also only get moniker changes. One key difference on both MPVs could be the design of the alloy wheels. The render here shows the wheel design also borrowed from the Grand Vitara, but the company could tweak it to make it exclusive for the Invicto.
On the interior side of things, no changes are expected, and it will most likely get the same dashboard layout as the Toyota Innova Hycross. The Maruti MPV will likely offer features such as ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a full-TFT instrument console, just like the Toyota Innova Hycross.
In terms of powertrain options, this forthcoming model will most certainly retain the same options as the Innova Hycross. Toyota currently offers the Innova Hycross as a petrol-only variant with two engine choices: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 2.0-liter petrol-hybrid engine. While the 2.0-liter petrol-hybrid powertrain claims a combined maximum power output of 184 bhp and a stellar fuel efficiency of 23.24 kmpl, the naturally aspirated petrol engine claims a combined maximum power output of 173 bhp and 209 Nm of torque.
