A video has been making rounds on the internet that shows a married man making a complete fool out of himself as he was seen approaching a woman and asking her for her “price”.

It was a shocking display of ignorance and disrespect as he misinterpreted her presence as an offer of companionship and he crudely asked for her “price.”
The woman seemed uncomfortable and laughed off his question.

The video has gotten the attention of several people online who have commented on the man’s ignorant and disrespectful behaviour.
Such behaviour may stem from the stereotypes of outdated portrayals of Thailand as a hub for nightlife and adult entertainment. But the behaviour of the man was totally uncalled for.

It wasn’t just a cultural shock but also the fact that he simply assumed that the woman was “for sale” is both degrading and offensive.
