Indian Olympic sensation Manu Bhaker missed her third Olympic medal in a whisker. In the 25m pistol women’s final event held today, Manu ended up in the fourth position and narrowly missed the bronze medal.

Manu already won two bronze medals in the 10m air pistol women’s and 10m air pistol mixed events just a few days ago. She almost secured a medal today as well.
In the elimination round, Manu was tied with Veronica Major of Hungary with 28 points. In the shoot-off, she was beaten by Veronica, who eventually won the bronze medal.

Until Series 6, Manu was in the top three positions but later due to a couple of misses, her score was tied with Veronica.
Nevertheless, it was an incredible feat for the 22-year-old Manu Bhaker to secure two medals in her Olympic stint and the fourth position in another event.

She might have missed the medal but she is a star to look out for in the future. She is definitely the break-out Indian star in the Paris Olympics 2024.
Manu broke many records in this Olympics. She is the first Indian shooter to secure two medals in the Olympics. She is also the first Indian, post-independence, to win two Olympic medals. She is also the first female shooter to win an Olympic medal.
As of now, India won three medals in this year’s Olympics and two of them were secured by Manu. The third one was a bronze medal won by Swapnil Kusale in the Men’s 50m Rifle Three Positions event earlier this week.
