Shaw injury update
Luke Shaw is expected to be out for ten weeks underlining Manchester United’s need to find a new left-back.
The England international was injured in the recent defeat at Tottenham and is expected to be sidelined for a prolonged period, leaving Erik ten Hag short defensively.
That motivated their pursuit of Sergio Reguilon, who will make a loan move to Old Trafford.
Shaw started 30 times for United in the Premier League last term, filling in on the flanks and as a makeshift centre-half. He will leave a sizeable hole and the Manchester outfit have agreed a loan deal for the Tottenham man with a medical due to take place.
The club have a break clause which they can trigger come January with no purchase option included in the deal whilst they will cover Reguilon’s entire salary.
