The Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw has been under fire lately over multiple train accidents happening in quick succession. But some people have come out to defend him sharing videos of miscreants causing damage to Public trains. One such video sparked an outrage from these sects of people but there seems to be more beneath what is being shared online.
A video was shared on X showing a man breaking the windows of a stationary Vande Bharat train with a hammer. Netizens were enraged with the incident and demanded legal action against the culprit. However, it seems the truth behind the viral video is not as the people are trying to spin it.

The man smashing the window is a worker who is doing his job. Yes, this is actually a standard procedure to change an already broken or cracked window glass. As they are usually attached with a strong adhesive these glasses need to be broken before they are removed. Many were quick to notice that the train was not even at a station but at a Coach Care Centre.
In the end, it turns out it was just part of a false narrative spread around by BJP supporters. They have been actively sharing similar videos of people trying to put obstacles on train tracks as the reason behind the accidents. While that is a dangerous act and should be stopped, there is little to no evidence if that is the reason behind these train derailments. This recent video was just another “exhibit” to prove their point.
