Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film Nadaaniyan failed to impress the viewers with its boring plot and disastrous performances.
The film received negative reviews all around and was rated poorly by critics and viewers. The film also stars Suniel Shetty and Mahima Chaudhry in supporting roles along with Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

With all the negative reviews, it is good to be optimistic about the film but it is highly disappointing if actors still defend their underwhelming work instead of listening and moving on.
Mahima Chaudhry seems to be the one to question the viewers as she compared Nadaaniyan to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.

She stated how Animal also had several negative reviews but still managed to be a huge hit. Being okay with the negative reviews, she stated “The negative reviews are okay. The audience is divided.”
What made her statement controversial is the statement “Whether it was Animal or any other film in the past, they were criticized.”

Someone needs to tell the veteran actress that if Animal had 100 negative reviews, it had 1000 positive reviews at the same time further solidifying its position as a blockbuster.
The same can’t be said for Nadaaniyan as it has been criticized for almost everything including its songs to cringe dialogues further making it a disaster.
While the performers and makers need to learn from this and move on, defending their film and comparing it to other films would be an illogical and baseless debate.
