Times and technology are advancing rapidly, and the youth in India are excelling in their respective fields without a doubt.

However, a section of young fans, especially those of Telugu movie heroes, seems to be moving in the opposite direction when it comes to expressing their fandom. No star hero’s fans are an exception to this trend.

A recent incident in the Hyderabad Metro is a prime example.

Fans of Mahesh Babu, after watching the re-release of Guntur Kaaram, began shouting loudly with chants like “Jai Babu… Babulake Babu… Mahesh Babu,” causing extreme inconvenience to fellow Metro travelers who were simply trying to reach their destinations.

These passengers included people of all ages and genders, including children. The sudden loud slogans left everyone embarrassed and uncomfortable, as they looked at each other helplessly.

Despite this, the fans continued their noisy outbursts without any regard for public convenience. On one hand, politicians boast about India becoming a global power, but on the other, such incidents highlight a lack of basic respect for public spaces and the comfort of others.
