Pani, a Malayalam movie written and directed by Joju George, was released in theaters a few weeks ago and has acquired positive responses from audiences and critics.
Even though the story of this movie was good and some people were appreciating it, some of the audiences were sharing negative responses to the movie, as the rape sequence shown in the movie was felt to be disturbing for many audiences.

Such feedback was also received during the Maharaja movie release and also for Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. Even many audiences criticized Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan, as in that movie the rape scene was shown many times in the movie, and it felt disturbing for audiences.
In this scenario, now people on social media were voicing their opinions after the Pani movie that the rape sequence was more than the limit and they have used the sequence for cheap thrills, says the audience.

Also, in this year itself, three movies have so far shown the rape sequences terribly, and at least in the feature, the makers should show more sensitivity while conveying such sequences in their movies, says the audience.
