Amid ongoing concerns over the adulteration of Srivari Laddus, an urgent meeting was convened by the TTD earlier today to address the issue and ensure the sanctity of Tirumala is upheld.
The meeting took place at the TTD administrative building in Tirupati, where EO Shyamala Rao consulted with Agama advisors and senior officials. The officials sought guidance from the Agama Shastra on how to proceed, given the concerns about the purity of the laddus.

As a part of the efforts to restore sanctity, a three-day Mahashanthi Yagam will be held at the Srivari temple starting from Monday. The meeting was attended by Venugopala Dikshitulu, four Agama advisors, Additional EO Venkaiah Chaudhary, and other officials.
Earlier, AP CM Nara Chandra Babu Naidu mentioned that adulterated ghee has been used in the making of laddus. Post that, the lab reports also confirmed the presence of Animal fats, resulting in a controversy.

Later, former CM YS Jagan also held a press meet to refute these allegations. However, people have been lashing out at him for the horrendous act committed under his governance.
