He thought he was simply entertaining the audience watching him on TVs while attending a pre-release event. However, when anchor Suma asked him a question about his family, he went on at length and ended up walking straight into a storm of trolls, inviting negativity for no reason.
His remark about his home resembling a girls’ hostel and his strong wish for a grandson sparked backlash. Even if he didn’t mean it in a literal sense, as a public and inspirational figure, such comments were not expected from him. Naturally, from local to national media, everyone criticized him for making a statement that seemed to reinforce gender inequality—an issue India continues to grapple with, particularly the preference for a male child over a female. His comment did not sit well with many, even if he had meant it in a jovial way.

2.Vishwak Sen
Vishwak Sen had another release soon after his last film, Mechanic Rocky, flopped. He returned with Laila, a film that took social media by storm, inviting unprecedented negativity.
The film was trashed by critics and audiences alike, with many calling it vulgar. His attempts to generate buzz before the release only fueled the extreme reactions.
Laila is a film Vishwak Sen will never forget—not just because it bombed, but because of the immense negative PR it generated. While box office failures come and go, Laila left a lasting mark on his image, adding significant pressure on him to bounce back with a clean hit.
3.Allu Aravind
Ram Charan’s uncle Allu Aravind, jokingly tried to poke fun along with Dil Raju on a public stage regarding Game Changer’s disaster collections. However, most mega fans took it as an insult, and the backlash escalated to the point where Allu Aravind himself had to publicly apologize. He clarified that he had no ill intentions, emphasizing that Ram Charan is like his own son.
This incident once again highlights how some senior producers speak their minds—whether they mean it seriously or not—but in the social media era, such statements can easily spiral out of control. As expected, Allu Aravind faced intense negativity for his remarks from mega fans.
4.Dil Raju
Dil Raju for no reason triggered unnecessary controversy by making comments about fake collections—ironically, regarding his own film Game Changer. He openly admitted that producers face pressure to publish fake collection posters from heroes, indirectly linking his remarks to the Game Changer fake collection poster, which had already become a laughingstock by then.
His open statements about fake collections and how producers are forced into it due to pressure from heroes and other key members did not sit well with many in the film fraternity, who felt it was unnecessary talk in a public forum.
Moreover, as the producer of Game Changer, admitting that the poster was fake and implying that he did it under pressure from the hero angered mega fans.
Once again, this incident highlights how senior producers, when speaking in public, sometimes fail to filter their words, discussing matters best kept private.
5.Chay Sobitha
Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel hit the streets in February and had a moderate run at the box office. However, the film earned goodwill due to its backdrop and real-life story. Surprisingly, Naga Chaitanya overshadowed a strong performer like Sai Pallavi and walked away with most of the credit.
And also Naga Chaitanya’s public appearance with his wife Sobhita Dhulipala caught media attention, with the couple’s presence drawing significant buzz on social media. Overall, despite the film’s moderate performance in the Telugu states and its complete underperformance in the U.S., the entire crew gained some goodwill from the project.
6.Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna once a frequent target for trolls and online abuse, is now making smart choices and playing his cards right which is working in his favor. Surprisingly, for the first time, a film of his is trending at number one on Netflix in nearly 20 countries and receiving widespread appreciation, even from regional industries like Malayalam and Tamil, due to its top-notch technical finesse and grand production values.
This is indeed a phenomenal feat for a senior star like Balakrishna at this stage of his career.
7.Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom
Vijay Deverakonda who has been going through a rough patch with back-to-back disappointing films, is finally making a comeback with a promising combination. Director Gowtham Tinnanuri’s Kingdom teaser was released and immediately grabbed attention. The setting, intensity, and overall presentation looked impressive.
The teaser set strong expectations for the film, making it one of the most promising upcoming releases. The hope is that this film will deliver big and bring Vijay Deverakonda the much-needed success to get his career back on track.
8.Nani’s Hit3
When Nani took on the third installment in the HIT franchise, HIT 3, there were doubts about how he would handle it. However, the teaser made the right impact, even though it clearly feels inspired by Sandeep Vanga’s Animal and carries some of Prashanth Neel’s signature style.
Despite these influences, the teaser left a strong impression, and now the focus shifts to whether the trailer will deliver on the same level. This film is another exciting project to look forward to from Nani, who has earned goodwill by setting up back-to-back projects with solid choices. He continues to make smart career moves without blindly chasing big combinations.
9.Sundeep Kishan
Sundeep Kishan’s recent film Mazaka directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina did not bring any good news for him. Adding to the disappointment he faced criticism despite being known as a young hero with sensible opinions in media interviews. Sundeep has always been regarded as a simple and reasonable actor with common sense, but his self-proclaimed title ‘People’s Star’ invited unnecessary trolling.
The title card of Mazaka also not only became a source of mockery following the film’s failure but also sparked discussions on social media for blatantly lifting from a popular star’s film.
10.Kayadu Lohar
The latest Tamil blockbuster, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon features Kayadu Lohar as one of the female leads, and her on-screen presence has set social media on fire, especially among the youth. Her looks in the film created a frenzy, making her one of the most talked-about actresses in recent times.
The impact was so strong that Naga Vamsi of Sitara Entertainments immediately signed her for Vishwak Sen’s Funky movie. Her dance clips and scenes from Dragon are being widely shared, with fans digging up every bit of her work. She is indeed a refreshing addition to pair up with younger heroes.
