Superstar Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan came together first time for a film in 1995 titled Aatank Hi Aatank. The film was a freemake of the Hollywood classic The Godfather. The film turned out to be a disaster. It is also considered one of the worst films and performances of Aamir Khan.
Now both superstars are coming together in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie. Coolie already features Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, and Sivakarthikeyan.

According to the latest reports, Rajnikanth is in Jaipur shooting along with Aamir Khan, who is set to play a cameo in the film. Rajinikanth is set to shoot for 10 days in the city where Aamir is also set to share the screen with him.
Aamir is doing this project as a courtesy as he is expected to collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj for another project soon where he will be playing a full-fledged role.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is expecting that the combo of Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan would spell fireworks at the box office, especially in the North due to the Aamir Khan factor. But their past collaboration was Aatank Hi Aatank which was a disaster.
Many don’t know that Aamir was supposed to do Pakshirajan’s role in Shankar’s 2.0 with Rajinikanth. But he rejected it at the last minute and Akshay Kumar replaced him.
