Massive fire breaks out in Bhawani Peth, 10 godowns gutted
A massive fire broke out early Thursday morning at Bhavani Peth in Pune, in which around 10 large godowns of plywood, wood, and laminates located in the Timber Market area. No person was injured in the incident.
According to Fire Brigade Department, at around 4:30 am, the fire brigade officials were alerted and promptly responded to the distress call. A swift response was taken with a total of 30 fire-fighting vehicles dispatched from the Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), and Pune Cantonment.
