Recently, there have been rumors about Kareena Kapoor being approached for Prabhas’s upcoming film Spirit, following similar speculation regarding Yash’s Toxic.
However, Kareena has openly denied these claims, stating that there is no truth to them. She clarified in an interview that no one from the team of Spirit has contacted her yet.

The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is one of the most awaited pan-India projects featuring Prabhas. Reports had circulated that Kareena and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, were set to play antagonists in the movie, causing quite a stir in media circles.
But Kareena dismissed these rumors, emphasizing that while she is eager to act in a South Indian film, she is waiting for a role that holds significance in the story.

Kareena stated, “It’s a complete lie that discussions have happened between us.”
She added that she would be open to acting in South films if the character is compelling and impactful. However, she made it clear that no one has approached her regarding Spirit.

As North Indian actresses are increasingly signing projects in South Indian cinema, Kareena seems to be taking her time to find the perfect opportunity.
While everyone anticipated her collaboration with Yash for the gangster drama Toxic, it ended in a last-minute no. Now, with Prabhas, it’s the same story—she hasn’t signed on for the film despite the speculations.
