Political reactions remain mixed. Kerala Congress praised the film for exposing divisive agendas. BJP leaders in Kerala maintained neutrality, leaving it to the audience to decide. However, some BJP supporters argue that the censor board overlooked problematic content.

Producer Gokulam Gopalan acknowledged the backlash. He admitted that around 17 scenes would be cut, with changes made across 4,000 theatres. This process is expected to cost 40 lakhs. He insisted that the film was made for entertainment, not to offend anyone.
