The late-night farmhouse party raid has been creating ripples in Telangana since this morning. The police have confirmed that the farmhouse in Janwada is owned by BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s brother-in-law, Raj Pakala, and he was the one who hosted it.

The raid was conducted by Narsingi Police in association with the Cyberabad Special Operation Team (SOT) and Excise officials. A few imported and domestic liquor bottles were seized at the venue. A party attendee named Vijay Maddala tested positive for cocaine consumption as well. The police have filed a case against him.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against Raj Pakala under Sections 34 A, 34 (1) r/w 9 of the Excise Act by the State Excise Task Force.

In the FIR, it was stated that drugs were used at the party. It was written that Raj Pakala handed over cocaine to Vijay Madduri, who later tested positive for cocaine consumption. It was also stated that women at the party refused to undergo drug kit tests.

Reportedly, the police asked Raj Pakala to attend the interrogation, but he failed to attend the questioning of both Excise Officials and police officials.

Thus, the excise officials went to Orion Villas, where KTR and Raj Pakala reside. Raj Pakala was not at his house, the police were conducting searches at his brother Sailendra Pakala’s house.

Meanwhile, they were stopped by BRS MLAs and leaders who argued about how they could come without any prior notice or warrant. This led to a clash between BRS leaders and police officials. Eventually. the police officers have arrested BRS MLA KP Vivekananda, former MLA Balka Suman, and a few other leaders who tried to stop the investigation. These arrests led to a high-tension atmosphere at KTR’s residence.
