U.S.-headquartered Korcomptenz Inc said it is expanding operations in India by setting up offices in Chennai and Hyderabad. The firm has also established an AI innovation hub in Chennai as part of the exercise.
“We already have a presence in Chennai. We have now picked up a new office space. We will be investing ₹20 crore for the expansion and most of it is into human resources,” said Prakash Anthony, chief executive officer, Korcomptenz Inc.
“We have clients in the Americas, the Middle East and many of our key global clients are either expanding into India or leveraging Indian talent. Establishing operational bases in Chennai and Hyderabad positions us closer to our clients’ digital transformation journeys,” Mr. Anthony said further.
“Our investment is aimed at building state-of-the-art infrastructure, AI labs, and a team of over 300 professionals in the next 18 months,” said Clara D’Silva, president, Korcomptenz Inc.
Korcomptenz Inc. is an IT consultancy business with 20 years mid-market enterprise expertise, operating out of eight global locations.
It has presence in the U.S. Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Mexico, Philippines and India. The company set up operations in Chennai in 2006.
