Jr. NTR’s film Devara turned out to be a big hit at the box office with more than 400 crores worldwide gross, the Hindi version also contributing decently. The producers are reportedly happy with the film’s collections and are now preparing for Devara 2.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film was planned as a two-part series, with the core storyline predominantly in the second part.

Currently, NTR is busy with the shooting of War 2, which is expected to wrap up soon. He is also set to begin filming another movie under the direction of Prashanth Neel. We have to see where Devara 2 will fit into the scheme of things.
Fans, however, are not excited by this project. The banner has disappointed them a lot not just once but many times. Koratala also delivered a half-baked film with Devara with no impact for fans to celebrate.
They don’t want their star to waste another 1-2 years over a film that might not add any significant benchmark to his career.
