A Journalist on Sakshi calling Amaravati the Capital of Sex Workers has created a Storm in Andhra Politics. The People of Amaravati are protesting against Sakshi and YSR Congress’s attitude towards the Capital.
Cases have been registered against the Journalist Krishnam Raju who made the comments and against the host Kommineni Srinivasa Rao, who did not stop him.

After facing the public’s ire, Kommineni Srinivasa Rao issued an apology on the same show today.
But in the Apology, it is further revealed that neither Sakshi nor Kommineni regrets their behavior.

“It is unfortunate that people are commenting on Jagan Garu and Bharati Garu. I apologize to them. Even though they apologized, they are being dragged into this and are being abused,” Kommineni said.
“We are all common people without any assets. We do not have Political Strength and Power behind us. We are only striving for Democracy and Freedom of the Press. The Government should drop this issue if they have any love for Amaravati. They should not stoke the issue if they love Amaravati,” he added.

Kommineni is being shrewd here.
There is no remorse in his statement for his poor behavior. He is only worried about his employers getting criticized. In fact, he asked them apology in better terms than the real issue.
Kommineni, previously, worked as the Press Academy Chairman during Jagan’s term. He is a part of tarnishing the image of Amaravati just because his employer opposes it for Political and Caste reasons.
And then, he has the audacity to play the victim card in the name of Democracy and Freedom of the Press.
So Kommineni wants Democracy and Freedom to abuse a region and call people living there as Sex Workers.
And the last statement is even worse.
Just because everyone in the state is condemning Sakshi and YSR Congress, Kommineni is trying to display fake love for Amaravati, saying that the issue should be dropped if they love Amaravati.
They can badmouth Amaravati on Live Television. But when they are on the receiving end, everyone should drop the issue and withdraw the filed cases so that Sakshi and YSR Congress will be free again.
