Ex minister and YSRCP leader Kodali Nani underwent a bypass surgery on April 2 at Mumbai’s Asian Heartcare Institute. The surgery went off successfully, announced YSRCP district head Mandali Hanumantha Rao to media.
The chief surgeon Ramakanth Pandey performed the surgery for 8-10 hours (till Wednesday night 8pm). Mandali further told media that Kodali Nani will remain in ICU for a few days under the supervision of doctors.

The doctors have shared that all organs of Nani were functioning well. Kodali Nani will be in Mumbai for one month.
Hanumantha Rao said that his party and cadre were wishing Kodali Nani speedy recovery.

Kodali Nani was suffering with health issues for some time now and was admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. Initially, it was thought be a case of gastric problem. But further tests showed that he had severe heart problem. It was found that three out of four valves were blocked.
He was immediately flown in an air ambulance to Mumbai, where the bypass happened.
