Kill Receives A Positive Response After Its OTT Release

2024 witnessed the failure of many big-budget films. In between all these, there were small projects that managed to impress the public. One of them was Kill, produced by Karan Johar, which was termed as India’s most violent film.

Notably, this is not the first time that an Indian producer tried his luck on a film that was full of heavy violence. Similar projects have come out of India in the past, including Bandit Queen. On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal also managed to break box office records last year.

While Kill could not create any big record as expected, the film is now available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. It was released on September 6, 2024, at 12 a.m.

A majority of those who missed the film on the big screen are now watching it on OTT. A few others have already completed watching the film and are now taking to social media platforms to share their reactions.

The best part is that there are hardly any negative reactions. Most of the viewers have praised the action sequences, with some using words like raw and insane to describe their love for the film. Users even appreciated the set design of the film considering that it is not easy to shoot an action film inside a train.

People additionally posted certain glimpses from the film, proving that they have possibly paused those particular moments and watched them in repeat mode.

The action thriller originally came out to the big screen on July 5, 2024. Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal’s performances specifically received a positive response. The basic premise focused on an NSG commando taking down a group of bandits when they enter a train to loot people, eventually leading to the protagonist’s girlfriend’s death.
