After the historic success of KGF, Yash is teaming up with National Award-winning director Geethu Mohandas for a gangster thriller. The film, titled Toxic, will feature Kiara Advani and Nayanthara in key roles.
Toxic is currently in production, with plans for a 2025 release. Yash and his producer partners, KVN Productions, are aiming to make the film a global project. Sources close to the development revealed that discussions are underway with 20th Century Fox to be the international distributor.

Yash believes the storytelling and visuals of Toxic are on par with international projects, and he is exploring partnerships for a massive global release,.
The film is set in the post-Independence era, with Yash playing a role unlike anything he has portrayed before. The filmmakers are targeting a December 2025 release, though the exact date is yet to be decided.

While the ambitions for Toxic are big, it remains to be seen if the project has the necessary appeal to make an international impact. As of now, the film lacks significant hype even on the pan-India scale.
Geethu Mohandas, known for her niche, limited filmography, may not be the most commercially driven director, and her style doesn’t typically cater to mass audiences.

Apart from Toxic, Yash is also part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol. This film is slated to hit the big screen in Diwali 2026.
