Key Twist in YS Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case

Former minister Vivekananda Reddy’s murder continues to be a mystery despite ongoing case. Now, a new twist has taken place in the story.

Based on a complaint by approver Dastagiri, a case has been filed on the son of accused Devireddy Sivashankar Reddy, Dr Chaitanya Reddy. Case has also been filed on police officers named by Dastagiri.

In the past, Chaitanya Reddy had met him in Kadapa Central jail and tried to mislead him, Dastagiri had complained to the SP. Dastagiri said he was under pressure by Chaitanya Reddy to say he turned approver due to coercion.

Dastagiri said Dr Chaitanya lured him offering Rs 20 crore to support the accused. He also filed a complaint against police officers who told him not to file a case.

As per his complaint, the Pulivendula police have filed a case against DSP Nagaraju, SI Eswaraiah, central jail superintendent Prakash.

Dastagiri has also said that when he was in central jail, Chaitanya held a medical camp and tried to influence him. Finally, the police have filed an FIR on Dr Chaitanya Reddy and cases have also been filed on police officers.

It has to be remembered, Chaitanya Reddy had pushed aside the accusations on him. He said the police and other medical staff were present with him during the camp. He said Dastagiri had a criminal mind. He questioned why Dastagiri remained silent after the camp.

With the new development, it remains to be seen what Dr Chaitanya Reddy has to say. Already, the Supreme Court had issued notices to Chaitanya Reddy following Dastagiri’s complaints.
