Continuous challenges have been affecting the Polavaram Project in recent times. In the latest shocking incident, key files were burned in the administrative office of the Polavaram Project.
According to reports, the documents related to the primary left canal of the project were burned. It is being heard that officials in the administrative office committed this act.

Apparently, they burned the files out of fear that the manipulations made in compensating the beneficiaries who donated land to the Polavaram Project would be exposed.
Meanwhile, the Dhavaleshwaram Police have collected the half-burned documents from the incident spot and are investigating the matter.

Special Deputy Collector Vedavalli, Sub-Collector Shiva Jyoti, and DSP Bhavya Kishore have examined the half-burned files collected at the spot.
After examination, it was primarily found that the documents are related to the compensation given to the people who donated their lands.

The office staff is being questioned for burning files without informing or obtaining permission from the Special Deputy Collector.
Meanwhile, Special Deputy Collector Vedavalli stated that the investigation is underway and that those responsible for this act will not be spared.
