Kevin De Bruyne has provided an update on his Manchester City future.
The midfielder’s current City contract is set to expire at the end of this season and he has yet to agree a new deal.
From January 1 De Bruyne will be permitted to hold discussions with foreign clubs regarding a potential move.
De Bruyne has played a pivotal part in City’s incredible success since joining the club in 2015.
However, City have endured struggles this season with their win against Leicester ending their run of four Premier League games without a victory.
There have also been individual problems for De Bruyne, who has struggled for form and fitness due to injury.

In total, the 33-year-old has made 399 appearances since joining City and has scored 104 goals, while he has provided 171 assists.
As reported by The Independent, when asked if there was any update on his future, De Bruyne said: ‘No. Nothing yet.’
De Bruyne revealed in November that talks over a new deal had been put on hold after he suffered an injury in September. Initial discussion had taken place before the start of the season.
The Belgium international also opened up on his struggles with injuries.
He said: ‘It’s pubis. It’s a bit of everything. It’s not nice but there’s not a lot you can do about it, just wait. I hope to get better now.’
Pep Guardiola praised De Bruyne for his display in the 2-0 win away to Leicester as he returned to the starting lineup.
Guardiola was pleased with the impact that De Bruyne made in City’s win against Leicester
Guardiola said: ‘I said many times there are no doubts about Kevin when Kevin is fit. He was one of the most impactful players in the history of City and the Premier League but sometimes he didn’t feel well in the recent past and sometimes he needs physicality to feel good, like everyone.’
De Bruyne has previously been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. During his City career he has won six Premier League titles, the Champions League, two FA Cups and five League Cups.
City are back in action on January 4 with a home game against West Ham.
