The two bureaucrats have indulged in a bitter spat after D Roopa levelled 19 allegations against Rohini Sindhuri last Saturday.
Following the public spat between IPS officer D Roopa and IAS Rohini Sindhuri, the Karnataka Government Tuesday transferred both bureaucrats. According to the government order, they have not been given any postings.

A notice was also issued to the two officers, directing them to refrain from approaching the media to raise any allegations against colleagues.
While Roopa was serving as the managing director of Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd, Sindhuri was posted as the commissioner for the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments.
Roopa’s husband, Munish Moudgil, was also transferred from the Department of Survey, Settlement and Land Records where he was serving as the commissioner. He has now been posted as Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR).
The government had also served a notice to both officials on Monday evening. “Though there is an appropriate forum to raise your allegations/grievances, you have expressed the same directly to the media. This has the potential to cause disrepute and embarrassment to the Government. This is unbecoming of a civil servant and goes against the spirit of All India Service (Conduct) Rules…,” it said in the notice.
“Use of media to express grievance/allegations, rather than officially raising it with competent authority should have been avoided. Therefore, you are directed to refrain from approaching media on any such matters further and to observe All India Services (Conduct) Rules,” the notice by James Tharakan, Under Secretary to the government, DPAR, said.
The row between the two officials, which shocked bureaucratic circles in the state, started after Roopa levelled 19 allegations against Sindhuri last Saturday. On Sunday, she shared seven photos of the IAS officer, accusing her of sharing them with male colleagues.
She also alleged that Sindhuri had shared explicit pictures in a Facebook post on Monday. Roopa also filed a complaint with Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma demanding an inquiry into the allegations against Sindhuri.
Sindhuri denied all allegations and said Roopa was driving a false, personal vilification campaign. She also filed a complaint with the chief secretary. Her husband, Sudhir Reddy, even filed a police complaint accusing Roopa of defamation.
