Kanguva in Serious Troubles: Release Doubtful?

Suriya’s most anticipated Kanguva movie, directed by Siruthai Siva, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical on November 14th, and the pre-bookings for this movie started worldwide.

Kanguva was produced by KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green Productions. It looks like the production house is in serious trouble to release this movie on November 14th, as two cases stand against Kanguva’s release.

Previously, the Reliance Entertainment case had caused a lot of trouble for Kanguva, and then Kanguva’s producer, KE Gnanavel Raja, accepted to pay his pending payments to Reliance Entertainment, and the case was cleared.

Now two cases were raised against KE Gnanavel Raja. According to reports, the Chennai High Court has issued an order to KE Gnanavel Raja to pay 20 crores to the court-appointed administrator before November 13 to release Kanguva; otherwise, the movie should not be released.

KE Gnanavel Raja has acquired a debt from the late financier Arjun Lal, who was a former financier of many movies, and he went bankrupt and died. After his death, the court-appointed an administrator to recover his outstanding debts. So KE Gnanavel Raja should pay 20 crores before November 13 to the administrator to release Kanguva.

Also for another case that deals with the pending payments for Fuels Technologies, the Chennai High Court has issued an order that KE Gnanavel Raja should pay 1.60 crores of pending payments to the Chief Registrar of Chennai High Court before the release of the movie; otherwise, the movie should not be released.

It looks like multiple cases were raised against Kanguva’s production house, and the Kanguva movie is in serious trouble. Let us see whether the Kanguva movie will have a smooth release on November 14th.
