Recent polls show that Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for President, is now leading Donald Trump in three important states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

This is a change from the past year when Trump had a slight advantage or was tied with Joe Biden in these states.

When Biden was running for President, it seemed like Trump had a unanimous chance of winning, especially after an assassination attempt on Trump boosted his support. However, after Biden stepped down and Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee, the race has become more difficult for Trump.

The latest numbers show Kamala Harris leading Trump by 50% to 46% in these states. While this lead is close and within the poll’s margin of error, it’s still significant given how close Biden was to Trump before he exited the race and endorsed Kamala Harris.

Voters still trust Trump more on issues like the economy and immigration, but Kamala Harris has a strong 24-point lead when it comes to the issue of abortion.

Even though Trump’s campaign has questioned the accuracy of these polls, Kamala Harris’s campaign is gaining strength, especially with the excitement following Biden’s exit and her choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.

This has energized Democratic voters, helping Kamala Harris reduce the gap with Trump, who had gained support after the recent attack on his life and the Republican convention.

Kamla Harris’s popularity has grown a lot, especially in Pennsylvania, where she’s seen a 10-point increase in support over the past month.

As Kamala Harris and Walz continue their campaign efforts in these key states, Democratic voters are feeling more satisfied with their candidates, in contrast to three months ago when Republicans were more confident.

Trump might be now wishing that Biden should have been in the race instead of Kamala Harris.

With the election just around the corner on November 5, the polls show that the race is tightening as both parties prepare for the final push.
