Devara: Part 1 is an upcoming action drama film starring Jr. NTR in the lead role. Helmed by Koratala Shiva, it also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as the female lead and antagonist, respectively. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the film’s tunes.
The film carries a good buzz since it marks the first film appearance of Tarak after S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR (2022). Expectedly, it has made some solid pre-release business in the Telugu states; here are the details of it.
Sithara Entertainments has bagged the theatrical rights to Devara in Andhra Pradesh, while Dil Raju will distribute it in Nizam (Telangana). The total distribution rights in Telugu states are estimated to be around INR 110 crore. Besides this, the overseas rights (of all versions) are reportedly around INR 27 crore. To conclude, this Jr. NTR-starrer must collect a distributor share of INR 150 crore, only through its Telugu version, to emerge as a ‘Hit’; or, in other words, to achieve breakeven.
