After RRR, the immediate next films of both NTR and Ram Charan were naturally bound to be put up against each other. In tune with this, we can expect fans to pit Devara’s box office numbers against Game Changer’s numbers.

However, all the while, there was a perception on Game Changer so as to whether it was a stale product. The fact that the film has been in the making for 3 years and it has an out-of-form Shankar at the helm were cited as reasons as it not being in the same league as Devara.
However, these so-called voids are now filled up completely with the Sankranthi advantage the film has. Now that it is arriving in theaters on the 10th of January, the Sankranthi advantage will more than makeup for the mentioned shortcomings.

This will essentially mean that both Game Changer and Devara have a nearly level playing ground and there will be no escape for either sets of fans.
Henceforth, the box office compression between Devara and Game Changer will be at its fiercest as there will be no space for excuses. Devara had the advantage of mass film image and Anirudh while Game Changer has the priced Sankranthi advantage.

Both sets of fans are now bracing for what promises to be a high-octane box office race between the two biggies. Devara’s numbers are already finalized and now the eyes are on Game Changer which is arriving this January.
