Actor Jr NTR approached the High Court of Telangana regarding his land dispute case, located at Jubilee Hills Road No.75.
Getting into details, NTR bought a plot from a person named Sunku Geetha Lakshmi back in 2003. However, she had hidden the fact that the plot was still under loan.
Reportedly, she also obtained that loan from five different banks by producing fake documents back in 1996.
When Jr NTR bought the plot from her, he took a loan from a Chennai-based bank and cleared it as well. Since then, the land has been under his ownership.
However, the bank managers repeatedly called NTR regarding the loan clearance. In 2019, he filed a police complaint stating that the bank managers were asking him for money even though he was not the real culprit.
Recently, the banks that gave loans to Geetha approached the Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT). The DRT issued an order against NTR. He has now approached the High Court and challenged the DRT’s order.
A case has been filed against Geetha, and the High Court stated that it will inquire about the petition on June 6.
