A few months ago, the Chief Minister of Telangana urged film celebrities to create awareness videos for the anti-drug campaign as a condition for approving ticket price hikes for their films.
“You seek government approval to raise ticket prices whenever your films are about to release, but you show no interest in creating awareness on issues like drugs and cybercrime. No matter how big they are, every celebrity should make a 1-2 minute awareness video to be screened in all theatres before their movie,” stated Revanth.

Upon this order, actor Jr NTR recently made a short awareness video on drug awareness. In the video, NTR says, “The future of our country lies in the hands of the youth. However, many young people are falling into the trap of drug addiction for temporary happiness and relaxation.”
“Say no to drugs, life is too precious. Let’s all support the Telangana Government’s efforts to build a drug-free society,” NTR added.
