It’s been a few days since JioHotstar was launched as part of a merger between Jio and Disney+ Hotstar. However, it seems like the new platform will take some time to accumulate a positive response since it has already started facing troubles.
Social media platforms have been flooded with different posts, where the general public is criticizing JioHotstar for streaming issues that have emerged while people tried to watch cricket matches live.

A few people have even recorded and shared videos where JioHotstar keeps on buffering and does not play the match immediately. Others even featured an error message on the screen that stated that the platform was facing a technical issue with the broadcast provider.
Notably, JioHotstar has not shared any response to the ongoing issue and further updates are awaited on when the problem will be solved. However, the current situation has once again proved that the existence of Disney+ Hotstar was better for everyone.

JioHotstar has been heavily criticized ever since it was launched. The logo was also not liked by a lot of people and the streaming quality has been additionally slammed as it does not feature options above 1080p.
While the merger helped to bring the content of both platforms under one roof, it remains to be seen if the ongoing issues and the complaints from the general public will lead to some improvements and bring things back to their original form again.
