Guntur district police finally started the investigation in the Raghu Rama Krishna Raju’s case.
The department is preparing to send notices to the accused – former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, former CID DG Sunil Kumar, then Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu, and others and call them for investigation.

The investigating officers have already sent a notice to another accused, the then Guntur CID ASP Vijay Pal and asked him to provide evidence related to the incident.
It is known that a Sedition Case was filed against Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, who was the Narasapuram YSR Congress MP at that time for criticizing the then government and the then CM Jagan. He was arrested in Hyderabad and brought to the Guntur CID office where he was severely tortured.

Last month, Raghu Rama lodged a complaint with the Guntur district SP about the incident after the TDP coalition government came to power.
The police, who have already registered an FIR, are planning to file a charge sheet in the court.

It has to be seen if Jagan will accept the notices and attend questioning or will go to court to get those quashed.
It will be a big shame if Jagan has to go for questioning when he prevented RRR from going to his own constituency for almost four years.
