The month of April might turn out to be lucky for the film industry since a few big films are arriving in theatres and they feature popular faces in the lead.

The first major release will be Jaat, an action-entertainer directed by Gopichand Malineni. Jaat will feature Sunny Deol confronting Randeep Hooda, who plays the main villain. The teaser and trailer have already left a positive impression, hinting that the film might take a big opening.

Jaat will release on April 10, 2025, and apart from this, Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly will also arrive in theatres the same day. Although Good Bad Ugly is scheduled to be released in Hindi alongside other languages, the film is not expected to do well in North India.

However, this is the second film of Ajith releasing after around two months. Ajith is aiming to bounce back with Good Bad Ugly following the failure of Vidaamuyarchi.

Then there is Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 on April 18, which is set against the background of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, where the lead character aims to bring out the truth behind the incident that left many people dead.

Apart from Akshay, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday are also playing the lead. Considering the intense teaser that was released a few days ago, the film might leave an impression on the audience.

Due to the success of horror comedy films, other producers have started creating similar projects. Sanjay Dutt and Deepak Mukut have collaborated for The Bhootni, which features Sanjay in the lead alongside Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, and many others.

Although The Bhootni, which is clashing with Kesari Chapter 2, does not have enough buzz among the audience, things might turn out to be different, making the film a decent hit at the box office.

The last is Emraan Hashmi’s Ground Zero on April 25. It will focus on a real-life BSF operation in Kashmir and will be directed by Tejas Deoskar. With only 24 days left for release, only heavy promotions and hype can save the film from sinking at the box office.
