Some of YS Jagan’s close allies in Andhra Pradesh, such as GVL, Somu, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, and his ‘Super Swamy’ Swaroopananda Swamy have remained silent on the Tirumala Laddu adulteration issue so far. In contrast, Telangana BJP leaders like Raja Singh and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay have demanded that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu take strict action against those responsible.

Reports in mainstream media suggest that the Narendra Modi-led Union Government is furious with YS Jagan regarding the alleged adulteration of the sacred laddu during his tenure. The issue of adulterated Tirumala Laddu has drawn the attention of the central government. National leaders are reportedly taking the matter very seriously.

The Tirumala Laddu Prasadam, revered by millions of Hindus worldwide, has been at the center of controversy due to claims of adulteration, sparking widespread condemnation. Recently, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda responded to the issue after a conversation with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Over the past five years, Prime Minister Modi and his ministers extended considerable cooperation to YS Jagan’s government, allowing the RBI to approve loans despite Andhra Pradesh’s deepening debt crisis. The BJP also remained largely indifferent to Jagan’s legal issues, including the Vivekananda Reddy murder case.

However, there are now reports of tension within the Union Government. Allegedly, some BJP leaders felt insulted after consuming the adulterated Tirumala Laddu during the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya. Sources say that over 1 lakh laddus were sent from the TTD for the occasion, which has led to disgust and anger towards YS Jagan.
