Salman Khan

Salman Khan is one of those rare gems of Bollywood who delivered hits for around 10 years. However, his career took a different turn with the release of Race 3 and the public refused to visit the theatres in large numbers to watch his films.

Meanwhile, 2023 changed a few things for the Tere Naam star. While Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed to recover its budget, Tiger 3 managed to bring him back to the top position. The latter’s closing collections made Khan realize that he should stop interfering when he works with any director.

Salman took a completely different approach for his next, titled Sikandar. This time, he has collaborated with A.R. Murugadoss, who has also not directed any films since Darbar. Considering that Murugadoss has focused on more heroism and less glamour, it is expected that Sikandar will help to bring a new phase for Salman.

The latest updates have now stated that Khan would play a double role, with one of them being a businessman with a dark past involved in philanthropic activities. Apart from this, the major highlight will be an action sequence where 10,000 guns and bullets are being used.

While the news went viral, people shared their reactions on social media, with most of them comparing Salman with Shah Rukh Khan. A user directly accused the former of trying to copy King Khan’s work, starting from Pathaan last year.

Another user stated that Sikandar’s makers were attempting to make another film like Jawan, which turned out to be a successful venture for Shah Rukh Khan in 2023. Although Jawan did not have a sequence where 10,000 guns and bullets were used, the action scenes hinted at the fact that a portion of the budget was also invested in those materials.

On the other hand, some fans are equally excited to clap and whistle for Salman Khan once again as Sikandar arrives on the big screen in Eid 2025. Khan’s longtime collaborator and friend Sajid Nadiadwala is producing the action drama. Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj have also been cast in important roles.
