Today marks the last day for the announcement of the retained players for the coming edition of the IPL. In tune with this, all the sides have submitted their retention list to the BCCI.
Coming to the red-hot SRH side which was a finalist last year, they too have announced their retentions.

SRH have locked in their retentions 1. Heinrich Klaasen – INR 23 cr 2. Pat Cummins – INR 18 cr 3. Abhishek Sharma – INR 14 cr 4. Travis Head – INR 14 cr 5. Nitish Reddy – INR 6 cr.
Klaasen is the biggest holding of the side with a whopping Rs 23 crore spent on him. Captain Cummins has slightly reduced his salary as he’s settled for Rs 18 crore.

The core side of SRH with the kind of gun players like Nitish Reddy, Head, and Klaasen has been retained for another season and this is great news already.
However, with the majority of the remaining squad bound to be altered in the mega auction, a lot will depend on how the team gels together for the 2025 season.
