271 Merritt Ave., Wyandanch

Manhattan Beer Distributors purchased 3.7 acres of land at 271 Merritt Ave. in Wyandanch for $6 million. The vacant property has an active rail freight siding. Andrew Blumenthal of Metro Realty Services represented the buyer, while Ralph Perna of Schacker Realty represented the seller, 271 Merritt Avenue LLC, in the sales transaction.

 

1070 Islip Ave., Brentwood

Palm Plaza Grocery Corp., operating as Compare Foods, leased 8,000 square feet of retail space in the newly built Palm Plaza shopping center at 1070 Islip Ave. in Brentwood. Palm Plaza Laundromat leased 4,000 square feet of retail space in the same center. Both businesses opened last month. Ron Epstein of RC Commercial Partners represented the tenants, as well as the landlord, Palm Plaza LLC, in the lease transactions.

 

215 McCormick Drive, Bohemia

Eastern Industrial Services of New York leased 6,900 square feet of industrial space at 215 McCormick Drive in Bohemia. Michael Zere of Zere Real Estate Services represented the tenant, as well as the landlord, Patriazia LLC, in the lease transaction.

 

182 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road, Old Bethpage

Karp Associates, a Melville-based real estate investment firm, purchased the 48,000-square-foot industrial building on 2.35 acres at 182 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road in Old Bethpage for $7.512 million. The property is occupied by Skate Safe America, which will continue to operate there. Jeffrey Schwartzberg and Jason Miller of Premier Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer, as well as the seller, 55 Motor Ave. Co. LLC, in the sales transaction.

 

390 Central Ave., Bohemia

Majestic Flooring Solutions, which specializes in hardwood flooring, leased 8,400 square feet of industrial space at 390 Central Ave. in Bohemia. Anthony Filipelli of Schacker Realty represented the tenant, while Dennis McCoy of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Izumi Hibachi Real Estate LLC, in the lease transaction.

 

51 Rushmore St., Westbury

Island Office Interior, a supplier of office furniture, purchased a 15,595-square-foot industrial building on .69 acres at 51 Rushmore St. in Westbury for $4.2 million. The building has 5,000 square feet of office/showroom space along with three drive-in bays. Gary Friedman and Matthew Balzano of Schacker Realty represented the buyer, while Jeremy Hackett and Michael Pisciotta of Metro Realty Services represented the seller, Rushmore Management LLC, in the sales transaction.

 

114 Parkway Drive S., Hauppauge

Ruhof Corporation, a supplier of cleaning solutions for surgical instruments, purchased a 40,645-square-foot industrial building on 2 acres at 114 Parkway Drive S. in Hauppauge for $7.1 million. Greg Picker of Industry One Realty represented the buyer, while Howard Nemshin of Atlantic Properties represented the seller, Brothers Duo 2 LLC, in the sales transaction.
