Horrific details have come out from a missing person’s case of an Indian-origin woman that turned into a murder mystery earlier this year.
Mamta Kafle, 37, went missing in late July followed by her Indian-American husband Naresh Bhatt filing a report to the police on August 5. However, when the officers went to their Virginia residence, they found damning evidence against the husband himself.

Now, after a thorough investigation, Bhatt has been charged with the gruesome murder of his wife. The authorities disclosed more details about the incident which paints a harrowing picture to the public.
A look at Naresh’s internet history hints at a premeditated plan on his part. Apparently, he had googled, “How soon can you remarry after a spouse dies?” months before his wife’s disappearance.

Further, there were bloodstains found in the couple’s bedroom and bathroom that matched Mamta’s DNA. As her body is still missing, the police highly suspect that her husband killed her and chopped her off in the bathroom.
The Indian-origin couple didn’t have any history of domestic violence, making this crime even more shocking to everyone. The couple was married for less than three years and had a young daughter who will sadly have to live with this traumatic incident.
